Education is most important in our lives. However, going to school is
not the same experience for everyone. Many people in the world has
wired school experience. It might look odd to us,but it is completely
normal there. In some countries, school norms and teaching techniques
are really unusual than we think. Here i am going to list 10 most weird
school experiences.
Siberia: In Siberia, students go to school by helicopter. However, it
is not their every-day's routine. They go to school by helicopter and
stay there for few months. When summer vacation comes, they come home by
helicopter. I guess bad weather and lack of modern transportation
enforced them to do so.
2.In England, many schools have the same uniform for boys and girls.
3. Delhi, India: There is a school in Indian capital city of Delhi which is in the open sky. It has no wall, no classroom. It is under a bridge called Delhi Metro Bridge. It has a little more than 100 students.
4. There is a school in Germany called Kindergarten Die Katze that looks like a giant cat.
5. In South Korea, most students spent 16 hours in school. School is open from 8 am to 5 pm. However, many students need personal improvement. They go to private school from 6pm to 9 pm. So, overall, they stay 16 hours in school.
6. In Netherlands, the first school day starts at 4th birthday.
Tokyo, Japan: In Tokyo city, many schools have requirement for wearing headgear due to bad weather.
8. Bangladesh: School on the boat? Yes, you hear it right. In Bangladesh, there are many schools on the boats. Many regions in Bangladesh are located at the sea level. Most of the time, it flooded under water. So, this the choice they have to depend on.
9. Oceanic region: There are few schools in Australia and New Zealand where student can't wear shoe in the classroom. But they wear shoe when they come to school and go home. These schools are located by the ocean. Also, it depends on the seasons.
10. Russia: In Russia, school starts on a off day. September 01 is considered as knowledge day in Russia. September first is officially off. However, this day is first day of school. Instead of study, students recite poem, dance and sing.
Bonus: Husband Hunting School, Japan:
There is a school in Japan which teaches how to hunt husband. This school began in 2010. It encourages women to find perfect life partner. Single women in their 20s to 30s usually goes to this school Traditional engage marriage no longer exists in Japanese society. Now, young people need to find their own partner. This school help finding new partner.
Learning environment is not a limited common space. It could be under open sky or on the boat!
